Is there a free trial available?

Yes. Once you have created an account you can start a 14 day trial or directly purchase a paid plan.

How is the DataTabs usage counted?

A DataTab is a single data value store. It is active and counted, even when you have not stored data in it. You can delete the DataTab at any time. When creating a layout with instanced Documents, each Document contains individual DataTabs. The sum is simply calculated by adding up the number of datatabs for each of your documents.

How are taxes handled?

Taxes are added at checkout based on your billing address. Payments and taxes are managed by Stripe. If you are a business, you can submit your VAT Id.
